Terms & Conditions

By registering with Legacy Dance Company, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. I acknowledge and accept all scheduled studio events, including attendance at mandatory rehearsals and participation in the End of Year Concert where applicable. 

 

I acknowledge that my child will be participating in physical dance activities that may cause fatigue. I agree to inform the school of any health conditions or physical limitations that could affect my child's ability to participate comfortably before they attend any classes. I understand that dance is a physical activity with inherent risks of injury. By allowing my child to participate, I assume all associated risks and release Legacy Dance Company and its staff from any liability arising from my child's participation in activities at the academy. I also recognise the importance of my child and myself adhering to the rules and instructions provided by their instructors.

 

I understand that students must not be left unattended prior to their scheduled class time and that it is my responsibility to ensure my child is safely delivered to and collected from the studio. Students must not leave class or the studio premises unsupervised, unless given written permission by a parent/carer. Once a student leaves the studio premises, Legacy Dance Company is no longer responsible for their care. 

 

For the safety, focus, and wellbeing of all students, parents and guardians are not permitted inside classrooms during class times unless otherwise invited. Parents are responsible for safe parking, drop-off, and collection procedures and must accompany their child to and from the studio.

 

I give permission for Legacy Dance Company to photograph and/or film my child throughout the year for studio-related, promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

 

If I do not wish to grant this permission, I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the studio in writing. Please email info@legacy-dancecompany.com to advise if you do not consent to your child being photographed or filmed. While the studio will make every reasonable effort to respect this request, I acknowledge that exclusion from large group performance or event footage may not always be possible.
